Employment history details

Aug 1999 – Oct 2003   Axon Solutions (SAP consultancy) support division

Process & Quality Manager (Sep 2002  – Oct 2003) – Process development & associated change management, including introduction of quality.  I ran audits against those processes for the whole of the support division.  I believe strongly in the evolution and continual improvement of processes and, as such, maintained an intranet site to contain the latest information. Support of company’s NAI Magic service desk tool.   Involvement in Axon’s ISO 9000 & BS7799 programs as both a process owner for the support division and an internal auditor of other departments.

Team leader (May 2000 – Aug 2002) - line management for a large team of consultants & service delivery across a number of clients using both standard & heavily bespoked SAP systems.  My interest in producing processes & driving quality, led to my next role.

SAP Logistics Consultant (Aug 1999 – Apr 2000) – general support consultant working for a number of clients.

May 1998 – Jul 1999   Boss Manufacturing (Fork Lift Truck manufacturer)

SAP Team Leader - Recruited as an SAP configurer, to develop a team of in-house SAP programmers to both support existing FI, HR, SD, WM systems and develop & bed-in a new PP manufacturing system in conjunction with an SAP logo partner.

Feb 1993 – Apr 1998   C&W Communications (Telecommunications)

Business Analyst - Team member working in the SAP AM/PS integration team, in conjunction with Axon consultants, merging the assets & projects of four diverse companies into one single SAP system.  Each company had very different processes & legacy systems.  Responsible latterly for the configuration & support of the new system for the two SAP modules.

I originally joined as a Technical Writer and joined the SAP project when it was launched where I initially ran the Project Support Office using very much BS 9750 standards.

Previous experience is a combination of work with:

·        Software development companies, as a technical writer, marketing media manager and, originally, as a systems programmer

·        Trade press, as a staff writer on “Computing” and as a freelance writer on many computer & trade magazines and sub-editor on a civil engineering magazine
