On July 31st Rosemary and I attended a party in the Ramada in Inverness. We had been invited by Ravi and Maggie to a party to launch the Hossack Institute of Highland Studies in memory of Maggie’s parents, The party was great fun and had most of us attempting some form of Scottish dancing.
Great great grandfather Donald Hossack immigrated to Canada in 1835 from Inverness.
