The recent winds Posted Thursday, 28 February, 2002
After the stong winds in the UK a couple of days ago, I can report we have had no damage. The only thing which happened was the cover on the hot tub was blown open by the wind during the night. A few bricks weighing it down was enough to sort this out for the rest of the day.

All the rain we have been getting has made the fields totally water logged. I dare not venture out onto them.

After a slow start, I have started to build the webpages with the my pictures from the Elevon Presidents Award trip to Cabo san Lucas. I hopefully will have them linked in to the site by Monday.

Webcam Posted Wednesday, 20 February, 2002
The webcam which shows me at work is presently down. This is because the server displaying the images is down. It is waiting to be reinstalled. Hopefully I will undertake this project outside of working hours and get the Linux/Apache webserver running within the next week.

Wales French six nations match. Posted Sunday, 17 February, 2002
On Saturday met up with my brother and his mates (Tim and Jim) at a service station on the M5. Drive down was in fog and sunshine. Then on to Cardiff for a few pre Wales France match drinks. Chosen pub was filled with Welsh and French supporters. A few pints later we went to the Millenium Stadium for the match. Looked sold out. Wales started well, but gave away a few lineouts later in the match to be well down. Towards the end of the match they recovered and could well have won. Two Welsh attempts at tries in injury time had the whole crowd standing. Final score was Wales 33, France 37.

I have at last got the Blasdale News updates working. Hopefully now I can easily add new News to the web site. Click on the News button and see our latest news.

I have additionally got the Visitors book working. Here you can add comments to my website. These can be private, (I will get emailed), or they can be public, (you will see the comments on the web page, I will still get emailed).

Looking forward to the Wales France match at Cardiff. The guys in the pub were some what taken aback. Especially when I said I did not watch sport.
