Garden Pond

In June1994 I built a garden pond at the far end of the garden. This pond was lined with butyl rubber. Before the rubber was placed in the pond, the whole of the pond was lined with carpets acquired from various houses around the village. I started to dig the pond by hand, but soon gave up and hired a small digger for the weekend.
