The sanctuary of Athena Pronaia (Marmaria) includes one of the masterpieces of ancient Greek architecture; the Tholos.  It is a circular building of the Doric order with well balanced proportions and finely wrought details.  The edifice was of special importance, but its function has remained unknown to this day. 380 B.C.
