Cambridge Society visit to Piggots
The Buckinghamshire branch of the Cambridge organised a visit to Piggots near High Wycombe. This is the house where the sculptor, typographer and engraver, Eric Gill lived from 1928 until his death in 1940. Despite being a very religious man he produced many erotic etchings, and lived with his wife and various mistresses. The visit allowed us to look around his workshop, and the woods nearby. The Society also produced a BBQ in the woods.
