1975 was my final year at Cambridge University. I received my degree in glorious sunshine. My parents and grandmother came to the ceremony. The rest of the summer was spent sailing on the Norfolk broads, and working for the East Anglian sewage company cleaning small rural sewage works.
During the summer my parents moved from Waterloo near to Beccles to Lodge Farm in Gisslingham. Some of the later Summer weeks were spent laying concrete and preparing the farm for the pigs.
