Saturday - Back Home

Breakfast at 6.00 and left at 7.00 for innumerable queues at the airport. Told we could not take any knives onto the plane, even those were not allowed in the hold luggage. Steve confessed his dagger, but suddenly the security relented because we were not going further than London. Joan's fruit knife was returned to her, being considered not sharp enough.

Not sure what happened to the Americans when they got to Heathrow, as flights to America had only just started up again, and all the hotels were full in London.

A good holiday, pretty hard going with long days and some long coach rides.
