The highlights of 2019 were the cruise on the Nile, two trips to France and the numerous festivals I attended.
Our first trip of the year to France. We decided on Brittany for a change. Rosemary wanted to see the stones/
Music Festivals. Download festival, Metallica, Glastonbury, Lattitude, The Game Fair and finally the Cambridge Folk Festival. Did not make Reading as my ticket was missing.
The second trip to France started off on our own in the Jura, then we moved South to Vizelle, before meeting up with a Geology group. The Geology group was looking at the French alps. We were based in Provence, in a village. The week trip ended and then moved to the coast for a few days.
A short four-day excursion to St David's and St Brides Major for the Kingswood versus Walsh shoot in the quarry.
The rail trip from Milton Keynes to Holyhead and back again. The steam portion of the trip was hauled by 45690 Leander and the diesel haul was a Class 47
