We travelled up to Liverpool for Selina’s graduation, staying in the university halls of residence.

Trip into town to do some of the grockle bits, looked round the docks, had a meal in a Chinese Restaurant by the docks. Visited the loos to see the magnificent porcelain.

Good breakfast on the day in the college, and then into town for the graduation ceremony.

We had a tour of Liverpool in a yellow amphibious duck. These vehicles are DUCKWS, built in the USA by General Motors in the mid 1940’s as military ship to shore transportation. They were used in the D-day landings, and many remained in service until the 1970’s.

The trip took us on land around Liverpool, and then back to the docks where at high speed it took to the water. Quite a good trip.
