The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee (2012) was celebrated in style by Kingswood.  We started off with a BBQ / meal in the circle.  We played games, Jenga, while Ron planted the celebration tree.  The long bank holiday, continued with a tug-of-war against Wotton, continuing our almost annual contest which had been resurrected at the Queens’s Golden Jubilee.  This year the location was moved downstream the Tetchwick Brooke from the fisheries to the end of the lane at Tetchwick.

We had our traditional BBQ and tug of war across the brook, unfortunately Wotton appeared to beat us in the Mens, Women, and Children.  We also shot some clays, while the children attempted to put George’s car into the river.  Failing to do this then then drove it around the tress.
