University of Liverpool award
Selina received a letter through the post from Liverpool University informing her of an award she has won. She has been awarded a Royal Institution (Canning) University Scholarship, one of a limited number of scholarships awarded for one year on the results of either Year 1 or Year 2 assessments.
She obviously is not taking after her father while at University.
First day at Cedar
Today was my first day in the new office, and new company Cedar. Of course it took most of the day to get my email account working. (Thought it was Arelon, but was renamed Cedar)
Welsh shoot
Today was the return match with the St Brides Major. The shoot was a 72 bird layout. First time I had shot since the visit to Wales. I shot OK, but my score did not make the top twelve to be counted. We beat the Welsh. It was lovely sitting out in the sun, with good food a ale afterwards.
Then we played the usual game of Aunt Sally. Last year the Welsh beat us, this year we made amends.
Last day at Elevon
Today was my last day working for Elevon. I celebrated on my own with lunch at the P&A.
